Additionally, BASF offers a variety of other carboxylic acids and derivatives. One of our special technologies is HCN Chemistry that allows the production of different functionalized carboxylic acids, such as amino acids, esters, hydroxy acids and nitriles. BASF is one of a few companies capable of performing large scale HCN and NaCN reactions.
