Conversion of alkylhalides with NaCN to nitriles.

Reaction of ketones and aldehydes with HCN to produce hydroxynitriles.

Reaction of ketones and aldehydes with HCN and ammonia or amines to yield aminonitriles.

Further downstream processing:
hydrolysis --> carboxylic acids, hydroxy acids, amino acids, Pinner Reaction --> corresponding esters.

Continuous and batch operations in various reactors of different sizes (several 100 kgs to thousand of tons per year).
