Nomenclature

The nomenclature adopted for the products consists of an alphanumeric code, the key to which is given below. An appended "P" signifies that the product concerned is a specialty intended for the preparation of solutions. Development products can be identified by the prefix "KR".

First letter
Type of polymer
E = Polyethersulfone (PES)
S = Polysulfone (PSU)

First numeral
Viscosity class
1... = Lowest viscosity
6... = Highest viscosity

Second letter
Reinforcements or fillers
G = Glass fibers

Fifth numeral
Approximate concentration of additives
2 = 10% by mass;
4 = 20% by mass;
6 = 30% by mass.

Ultrason S 2010 G4
S = Polysulfone (PSU)
2... = Medium viscosity (general- purpose injection molding product)
G4 = 20% by weight of glass fibers
