Technology
In
today's highly competitive business world, Information
Technology professionals are a vital part of an organization’s
ongoing business success. BASF's Information Technology
community is comprised of the Corporate Information
Technology group, located within the Mount Olive,
NJ, Headquarters campus and several site-based IT
groups located throughout the NAFTA region community.
All of BASF’s IT groups function as an integrated
IS Community, whose primary function is to support
the growing technology needs of our businesses and
the expanding marketplace. These teams also work closely
together to establish community-wide IT standards
and to offer support to our colleagues who use this
technology to manufacture and market BASF’s products
and services.
Our
Corporate IT organization focuses primarily on large-scale
client-server, mainframe and web-based projects. In
addition, it provides PC, infrastructure and customer
support services. The IT organizations within BASF
are considered to be valued business partners who
consistently provide innovative business-oriented
solutions through the use of information technology.
