BASF donates $2,000 to the Morris Museum
‘Helping Make Communities Better’ grants support educational initiatives

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., November 10, 2004 -- BASF presented s $2,000 “Helping Make Communities Better” grant today to the Morris Museum in Morristown, N.J.

The Morris Museum is one of the largest museums in New Jersey, serving more than 210,000 school children and adults annually, through on-site exhibitions and school outreach programs. Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Morris Museum continues to be recognized as a leading cultural institution in the state, upholding the highest standards of artistic excellence, professional management, fiscal responsibility, audience impact and leadership in the arts community.

"The Morris Museum trustees, staff and community are delighted to welcome BASF Corporation to our neighborhood," said Steven H. Miller, Executive Director of the Morris Museum. "We appreciate the company's generous support, which will help us further our educational work in the arts, sciences, theater and histories.
