BASF to increase prices for styrene butadiene latex products

CHARLOTTE, N.C., December 1, 2004 -- Effective January 1, 2005, or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices in the United States and Canada on all carboxylated styrene butadiene latex products supplied to the adhesives, architectural coatings, carpet, construction, nonwovens and paper industries by $0.06 per dry pound.

Brands included are Basonal™, Butofanâ, Styrofan® and Styronal®.
