| BASF to increase list prices on acrylic
acid, esters
CHARLOTTE, N.C., December 10, 2004 -- Effective January 1, 2005,
or as contracts allow, BASF will raise its list prices in the United
States and Canada for acrylic acid, butyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl
acrylate, methyl acrylate, and ethyl acrylate by $0.22 per pound.
The new list prices for bulk shipments are as follows:

Off-list prices at contracted customers will not be affected.
