Diversity Alliance

The Diversity Alliance is BASF Corporation's response to the ever-changing workplace to recognize and address diversity issues within the corporate structure and to steer our organization toward our Diversity Vision. The Diversity Alliance is comprised of the Americas Regional Advisory Committee, a Diversity Team, Regional Business Units, and Employee Groups. In short, it leverages existing communities, committees and professions with team member representation.

Purpose:
The purpose of the BASF Diversity Alliance is to act as a catalyst to improve our business performance by promoting an inclusive work environment that results in increasing BASF's value to customers and partners.

Diversity Team:
BASF’s Diversity Team is comprised of 20 members from various sectors of the company who review diversity-related issues and offer recommendations to BASF Corporation management. BASF embraces the individuality of these team members and benefits from their unique contributions that help drive our performance and make our company better.

Employee Groups:
BASF encourages participation in a number of Employee Groups where employees with common bonds can share opinions and dialogue. Such groups include:

  • Women and Business Issues
  • African American Employee Group
  • Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender & Friends

BASF’s Employee Groups serve as a vital forum for key input on employee policies and programs.
