BASF appoints Irenee J. Philippe Business Marketing Manager for Paper Chemicals
in North America
CHARLOTTE, NC, July 18, 2007 – BASF has appointed Mr. Irenee J. Philippe as
Marketing Manager for Paper Chemicals in its Functional Polymers Regional
Business Unit located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“Philippe joins BASF with excellent knowledge of the pulp and paper industry
and a keen understanding of the role of strategic suppliers,” said Craig
Leavitt, Business Manager for the BASF Paper Chemicals, Dyes and Coating
Binders business located in Charlotte. “With 20 years of experience in the
paper and paper chemical industries, he will us help us to provide better
solutions and bring greater value to our paper customers.”
Philippe began his career in 1986 as a research chemist and has since held
various marketing and business management roles within the Paper Chemical
industry. He holds a bachelor degree in paper science and engineering from
Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
