BASF to raise prices for lubricants, thickeners
FLORHAM PARK, NJ, December 18, 2007 -- Effective January 1, 2008, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices for the following lubricants and thickeners by 2 cents per pound (18 cents per gallon) in the United States:
- Plurasafe® Concentrate E and Concentrate 1225
- Plurasafe WGF 46E, 46FG, 200E and 300E finished fluids
- Plurasafe 730, 800 and P44 heat transfer fluids
- Pluracol® V and WT thickeners
- Plurasafe Wl and WS base stocks
- Plurasafe Wl and WS finished fluids
