CHARLOTTE, NC, December 31, 2007 – Effective January 1, 2008, or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices in North America between 10 to 15 percent for its specialty acrylic monomers, including hydroxyethyl acrylate, hydroxypropyl acrylate, tert-butyl acrylate, tert-butyl methacrylate and iso-butyl acrylate.

This action is necessary due to escalating energy, transportation and raw material costs in the region.
