BASF to increase prices for its Styrofan latex sold to the carpet industry
DALTON, GA, July 9, 2008 -- Effective August 1, 2008, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its prices by $US 0.08 per dry pound on all Styrofanâ carboxylated styrene-butadiene polymers sold to the carpet industry in the United States and Canada.
This action is necessary as a result of significant cost increases for raw materials and energy that impact BASF’s business.
Styrofan is a registered trademark of BASF SE.
