Magical colors thanks to nanotechnology

Normal color, like we know from everyday life, doesn't change its color impression when you look at it from different directions. With the help of nanotechnology researchers at BASF have now managed to develop colors that change its color impression when you look at it from different directions. And even more effects are possible: The so called "mechano optical colors" change their color when you stretch them.
