Our program

The Visitor Center will be closed until November 30th 2020

During this period, there will be no site tours, guided tours or daily programs.

Open-house Saturday on November 14th will also be cancelled.

We regret the cancellation and ask for your understanding. The health and safety of all visitors and employees is a top priority for BASF. We will continue to monitor developments very closely and reassess the situation as of November 30th.

We will inform you about any changes here.

If you have any questions, please contact us by e-mail at visitorcenter@basf.com .

In the Visitor Center, you can take part in guided tours through the exhibition and site tours around the 10 square kilometers site premises free of charge – and all this in twelve languages!

For example, did you know that around 39,000 people work at the BASF headquarters in Ludwigshafen, the world’s largest contiguous chemical complex. Or did you know that 2,850 km of overground pipeline are laid on the site premises and provide short links for the transportation of products and energy in the form of fuel gas and steam? Explore and marvel at the BASF world in the BASF Visitor Center, either alone, as a couple, in groups or with your family.

Daily program

On week days you can participate in one English and two German guided tours through the exhibition and in site tours free of charge every day.
