Creator Space is the BASF program for insight-driven, collaborative innovation that looks at both technology and market trends. It often takes a local view to tackle a global challenge. Take the problem of organic waste. A Creator Space team in Chile is working with municipalities to close the loop between households and composting plants. In 2015, teams from Mumbai, Shanghai, New York, Sao Paolo, Barcelona and Ludwigshafen explored challenges related to energy, food and urbanization.
