After graduating, you can start as a trainee in our BASF Grow Graduate ProgramTM and gain insight into the various fields of activity in the individual departments. Your roles and subsequent target position will be agreed with you individually, based on mutual interest. This ensures you the best possible career start after your degree!

You have successfully completed your degree and if you have already gained practical experience via internships will be a plus. You have mastered working in both Chinese and English. As a globally operating company we depend on your strong intercultural skills. You are highly motivated to drive things forward and enjoy working in a team, with the ability to think entrepreneurially and communicate persuasively round off your profile.

As a Grow Trainee, you would experience various positions within the company to lay a solid foundation for career development in the 24-month job rotation. The trainees will interact with colleagues or customers from different countries with diverse cultural backgrounds, even more, they will have opportunities to participate in international projects or join in short-term programs overseas.

For all entry-level positions, you can expect demanding tasks with a high level of personal responsibility. You will also receive on-the-job training in a committed, competent team.

Our corporate communications department covers a huge diversity of different activities. Corporate communications at BASF encompasses press work, employee relations, brand management, marketing and product communications, government relations, corporate events, and a lot more. As an intern you will acquire in-depth knowledge of this area and will work on your own tasks independently in the team.

The internship will give you the opportunity to learn about corporate communications work. This will give you the basis for the fundamental decision as to whether you want to pursue a journalistic career.

After your studies you can apply for a BASF volontariat (traineeship). This offers the development directions of PR and marketing communications. In both areas, you have the opportunity to assume responsibility for exciting new activities and projects beyond your organizational boundaries.
