At BASF Ballerup (DK), Sandefjord (NO), and Hamina (FI) we can offer you apprenticeships in a variety of different disciplines such as; process, maintenance, engineering, laboratory and warehousing.
Your apprenticeship does not involve you just watching what we do; you will be assigned tasks which helps you to embed your skills into the team. We take into account particular requirements of your apprenticeship qualification.
You have the relevant educational qualifications as required in the field of interest and required for the apprenticeship you are applying for, including Maths, English/Nordic language. You will have an excellent attitude towards safe working, excellent IT skills, effective communication skills and the ability to follow procedures with a methodical approach. You have the logical ability to solve problems in a timely manner and the ability to stay calm in difficult situations.
Your responsibilities will vary depending on the apprenticeship you are taking. You will work within a dedicated and experienced team to develop your knowledge of the chemical industry. You will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work as part of a team. You are self-driven and have an enthusiastic approach to work, a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn and listen. You have good time keeping and attendance record and must be able to carry out work in accordance with employer’s health & safety guidelines.
