Master Builders Solutions® to showcase innovative waterproofing and sealing solutions at UNITI expo 2018

  • MasterSeal 7201 CR provides reliable sealing of wall and floor joints at petrol stations and other facilities where substances hazardous to water are stored or handled
  • MasterProtect 7800 and 7801 AS are particularly suitable for problematic and contaminated substrates

Mannheim, Germany, May 9, 2018 – BASF’s Master Builders Solutions® experts will showcase innovative waterproofing and sealing solutions at the UNITI expo trade show in Stuttgart, Germany, from May 15 to 17, 2018. At the BASF booth (E40, hall 3) visitors can explore the comprehensive portfolio of chemically resistant joint and surface sealants for petrol stations, airports, and other facilities where substances hazardous to water are stored or handled. A particular focus will be on the MasterSeal 7201 CR as well as MasterProtect 7800 and 7801 AS products.

MasterSeal 7201 CR is a chemically resistant polysulfide joint-sealing system for use in areas where groundwater has to be protected from substances hazardous to water. The straightforward, durable joint-sealing system reliably seals wall and floor joints at filling areas of petrol stations or other facilities storing or handling substances hazardous to water. Customers benefit from reduced maintenance requirements and, as a result, significant reductions in costs.

MasterProtect 7800 and the conductive MasterProtect 7801 AS are chemically resistant sealing systems on a fiber-mat base and approved in accordance with WHG, the German Water Management Act. Their combination of a polypropylene-fiber mat with a polysulfide-based coating makes both sealing systems particularly suitable for use on problematic or contaminated substrates at facilities that store or handle substances hazardous to water. Customers can rely on the chemical resistance of both sealing systems confirmed by TÜV Süd.
