Jessie: BASF offers many opportunities for employees who are willing to take new challenges compared to other employers. I especially like how everyone is connected with each other to work together internationally.

Anup: While most companies adopt their people’s specialized knowledge and limit the exposure to only single industry, BASF exposes employees to many different areas and industries. At BASF, the learning never stops!

Jessie: BASF is the leading chemical company in the world. When you join BASF, you have to be prepared for a wide range of challenges, as well as opportunities, since the company connects to many business segments and has a lot of well-defined processes across the whole organization.

Anup: Approach your experience with an open mind and willingness to learn during your journey with BASF. There are tremendous opportunities that you can enrich your experience and it is up to you how to make the best of them.

Jessie: Switched from mergers & acquisitions and strategy to a completely different focus of business controlling without much relevant background, I managed to pick up the new knowledge from the Company provided trainings and coaching and apply it to my current role as the Regional Controller for Process Catalysts in Asia Pacific. In the future, I’m willing and eager to develop into other areas such as marketing while exploring new and exciting assignments.

Anup: I am very proud of what I have accomplished, all the way as it is far more than I could imagine when I first joined BASF. I am looking forward to what the future will bring - whatever it is.
