Business chemists at BASF

Be a mediator between two worlds.

As a business chemist you understand the disciplines of chemicals and business. You speak two "languages" at the same time and can handle both disciplines. In research and development your tasks will focus on research controlling, which requires marketing experience with a clear understanding of chemistry. The main areas of work are however outside research in commercial departments: e.g. in procurement, technical marketing or sales, product management, new business development or supply chain management. Contribute your wide-ranging expertise to these areas.

What we expect

You are studying business chemistry and have not yet completed your studies. Your communication is confident and authentic, including in English and you thrive on working in an inter-cultural and interdisciplinary team. You are open to new things and enjoy technical and commercial challenges that you approach purposefully and solve using innovative means. Ideally your internship will last three to six months so you can demonstrate your commitment and talent.
