Erlebnis-Samstag bei BASF im Zeichen der Sicherheit
What protective clothing do emergency personnel have in case of emergency? What do the emergency vehicles look like from the inside? And what risks lurk in everyday life? At the experience Saturday 8 April from 9 am to 4 pm, this time everything revolves around security. Small and large visitors can learn more about the safety at the Ludwigshafen site as well as safe behavior in their daily work and everyday life with exciting lectures and participatory activities.
In addition to the 2,000-square-meter interactive exhibition space in the visitor center, there are numerous experience stations for different security topics. Visitors can, for example, test their responsiveness in the driving simulator, make a family portrait in protective clothing or watch experiments in everyday life. In front of the visitor center are the vehicles of the environmental monitoring, the factory fire, the health protection and the factory protection. BASF experts as well as plant manager Dr. Uwe Liebelt are available to answer questions.
In the quarter hour cycle, the factory will be taking place between 9 am and 3 pm. Visitors from six years will learn more about Ludwigshafen. At two stops, experts from the factory fire brigade and the steamcracker tell about the safety in their area. The round trips start at the visitors' car park opposite Tor 2.
All offers on the experience Saturday are free. Further information is available at www.basf.de/visitorcenter.
