The green apartment block A spectacular example of the green future of high-rise construction has been set in 2018 in Taipei, Taiwan. The Tao Zhu Yin Yuan Tower designed by the Paris-based Vincent Callebaut Architectures resembles a DNA double helix. The plants should absorb 130 metric tons of carbon dioxide a year – equivalent to the emissions from 27 automobiles.
