All industries have been trying their best to keep up with the current situation and to stop the spread of the virus, but there is one industry that has a vital role: the chemical industry.

In 2050, nearly ten billion people will live on Earth. While the world’s population and its demands continue growing, the planet’s resources are finite. The United Nations (U.N.) predicts that by 2050, mankind will need to increase food production by 70% to feed the world.

Water is an essential building block of life. We are 80% made of water. Our planet is 70% covered with water. There is enough freshwater on the planet for seven billion people, but it is distributed unevenly and too much of it is wasted, polluted, and unsustainably managed.
