Who we are

Quieter cities

Sound-absorbent, flame retardant and heat resistant, flexible (even at low temperatures) and lightweight. Imagine the possibilities – then add a few more.

Our foam Basotect® is the ideal material when it comes to noise reduction in construction and industrial applications. Because of its high sound absorption capacity, extreme light weight, flexibility, and flame-retardant character, it can be easily installed on existing ceilings or walls with customizable aesthetics, or built into new construction, completely hidden from view in order to reduce sound reverberations.

Thanks to its versatility in design and performance, it has even been featured in artist Doug Wheeler’s installation PSAD Synthetic Desert III at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. The exhibit used Basotect to bring sound measures to between 5-10 decibels – one-third of what we normally consider silence.
