EPI Wood Adhesives

Emulsion-Polymer-Isocyanate (EPI) wood adhesives are widely found in furniture in wet rooms, window, door frame bonding, and outdoor applications. In order to withstand long exposure to running and condensed water, the technical requirements for the latex blend and crosslinker are very high. As one of the leaders in polymer dispersions, BASF has designed polymers that help formulators to develop DIN EN 204 compliant EPI systems, achieving excellent water & heat resistance while having a long pot-life.
