BASF presents Future Perfect powered by TEDx Gateway in association with TIMESNOW and ETNow is a unique series which showcases latest innovations that improve the quality of human life. The series brings together experts, opinion leaders, corporates, government authorities and stakeholders from various industries to share their views and vision for a perfect future ahead.

 

Future Perfect 3.0 decodes challenges and discusses unique solutions developed by three TEDx speakers on clean air, smart cities and health. The series also touches upon the challenges of e-mobility by an esteemed panel from the industry.

 

Prateek Sharma

Prateek Sharma (Cleaner Air: Naso filter)

He has invented Naso Filters, a nasal sticker that prevents the entry of PM2.5 particles, which is any particle smaller than 2.5 microns. Think of a strand of our hair, PM2.5 is 40 times smaller than that one strand. This is extremely crucial for our country in view of cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Akash Manoj (HEALTH)

To make people aware of silent heart attacks, their causes and symptoms and the device he built to help detect heart attacks at age 16! It is a non-invasive device that is inexpensive, portable, and wearable by at- risk patients.

Naresh Narasimhan (Smart cities)

He is well known for his long-term association with Venkataramanan Associates (VA), an award-winning architectural firm. He has fuelled many progressive causes for the city. He maintains a healthy and eclectic work‐style, with interests that range from social innovation, knowledge-sharing and communication strategies to cinema, art and popular culture.
