Talent Community

Become a member of our Career Center (Scandinavian countries) or our global talent community to stay informed about suitable positions and relevant news about BASF. If you want to stay updated on interesting jobs, you can receive newly published vacancies by our job agent. The job agents can be activated via our Career Center or in our talent community.  

Within the career center you have the possibility to create your own profile and upload your CV and cover letter and any references. You will need about 15 minutes to create your profile.

Once you have found a position that interests you on our career page, you can use our online application system to apply. We only accept applications online.

In order to get some first impressions of you during the screening process, we review the information that you provided us in your CV. In addition to you professional qualifications, we are especially interested in:

  • What motivate and drive you in your professional life
  • Your personal interests (e.g. sport, music etc.)
  • Your intercultural interests or experiences

1st interview
If we find that you have an interesting and relevant profile during the screening process, you will be invited to a 1st interview. This first interview focuses mainly on your professional competences to assess if there is a match with the position and the company in general. You will in the first interview meet your possible future manager and get an idea of how BASF operates as an employer.

2nd interview
The second interview is focused on your personal competences and will give your potential future manager a chance to get to know you and the way you work better. Before the interview, we will ask you to fill in a personality profile online. This will work as a starting point for a dialogue about you and your working style.

If we believe that you are the right candidate for the position and for BASF we will contact you via phone and talk with you about the further procedure.
