What makes a good hotel? This question will be raised at the DBZ Expert Forum, which will take place on 18 September in Berlin. The Waldorf Astoria brings together all those who play a key role in the planning process of a hotel: Architects and interior designers, technical planners, engineers, facility managers and operators. BASF is also taking part with exciting contents on floor design with Elastopave®.
A good hotel creates an all-round feel-good package for its guests - from service to design to furnishings. Every detail is decisive to ensure that the big picture is right. This makes it all the more important to think holistically during the planning phase. This is why all those who work hand in hand in the conception of a new hotel will be exchanging ideas at the DBZ Fachforum Hotel on 18 September in Berlin: Architects and interior designers, technical building planners, engineers, facility managers and operators. As a provider of modern material solutions, BASF is also on site: Christof Grieser-Schmitz, Manager Marketing Construction Infrastructure at BASF Polyurethanes, will present the diverse possibilities for creative and environmentally friendly floor design with Elastopave®. What's special: For the product, mineral mixtures are bonded with a polyurethane binder to form a stable, water- and air-permeable surface layer. Here, for example, rainwater can seep away optimally. Elastopave is thus not only up to the special requirements of the high public traffic in hotels, but is also suitable as a floor covering for both indoor and outdoor areas. The choice of mineral mix also leaves plenty of room for creativity in terms of colour, pattern and structure.
