trinamiX introduces automotive-grade wide-Field-of-View dot projector enabling convenient Health and Safety Features at CES 2026
Ludwigshafen, Germany, December 3, 2025 – At CES 2026, trinamiX GmbH, a leader in biometric imaging technology, will unveil its groundbreaking wide-Field-of-View (110° × 85°) dot projector designed to enhance automotive in-vehicle health and safety. Combined with trinamiX proprietary software and a near-infrared camera, this technology features advanced sensing capabilities — including secure Face Authentication, remote vital signs monitoring, 3D distance mapping for optimized airbag deployment and recognition of correct and secure seatbelt routing. The projector’s wide Field-of-View enables simultaneous monitoring of both the driver and front-seat passenger, reducing the need for multiple sensors.

Nobel Prize for MOFs: Nanostructures enable large-scale extraction of carbon dioxide from the air
BASF produces metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for CO₂ capture on an industrial scale. These nanostructures can absorb large quantities of molecules on their surface. For the development of these MOF structures, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm will award this year’s Nobel Prize in Chemistry on December 10, 2025.
