BASF in the Philippines

BASF PH Agro Station Areal Shot.jpg

BASF has been doing business in the Philippines since 1963. As one of the leading suppliers of chemicals in the world, we combine economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility. Through science and innovation, we enable our customers in nearly every industry to meet the current and future needs of society. Our operations in the Philippines include two main sites and approximately 70 employees – which are supported by the company’s global network.

The Philippines is also home to one of BASF’s five global agricultural research stations. Nestled in the idyllic province of Laguna south of Manila, it conducts research, laboratory studies and field testing of novel technologies as part of BASF’s global research efforts in the field of agricultural solutions. We also operate two off-site full scale R&D facilities in Pampanga and Davao del Sur to support our local crop protection business.
