BASF Pakistan presented leather and intermediates solutions at Pakistan Mega Leather Show 2017

BASF’s Leather Chemicals division aims to provide value to its customers. In keeping with this spirit, the division presented its high-performance products at Pakistan Mega Leather Show that took place in Lahore between January 27 - 29, 2017. The team was joined by the Intermediates team. The objective of the event was to showcase solutions that support resource optimisation, meet stringent specifications, and enhance quality of leather at different stages of leather making. BASF’s major focus area was quality enhancement, which was demonstrated with various products such as DryFast (reduces water usage and effluents in the beamhouse process) and Eukesolar® Black MB (a new spray dye). Visitors were also introduced to formic acid, a product that makes the tanning operation and the fixing of dyeing and retanning agents during leather processing more efficient.
