Classic cars take on a brand new finish

Münster. According to the German Motor Transport Authority, in Germany exactly 2,930,501 vehicles, among them 919,905 passenger cars, are more than 20 years old, and the number is rising. From 2005 to 2006, the number of passenger cars alone that have more than 20 years under their belt rose by 16.77 percent. Many of these older cars are genuine objects of beauty, classic cars that receive a great deal of tender loving care. Their owners invest a lot of time and energy in maintaining the value of their vintage cars. Rust on the “old beauties” or minor paint damage mar their classy appearance, however. In such cases, the best solution for restoring the former condition of the car is sought; the fact that the original paint is generally no longer available on the market can make it a search for the Holy Grail, however. Glasurit has now found the answer: Classic Car Colors (for more information, see www.glasurit.com).
