AMI Masterbatch 2013: Headline Sponsor BASF presents new offerings to the industry

Ludwigshafen – June 3, 2013 – BASF, the leading supplier of Additives and colorants for the plastics industry is the headline sponsor of the 26th AMI Masterbatch 2013, which will take place on June 4 to 5 in Frankfurt a. M. With more than 200 delegates the conference is a major forum for the international Masterbatch industry. On that occasion BASF Plastic Additives presents two papers.

“Anti-Dust solutions for Automotive – effect permanency and stabilization” is the title of the presentation given by Mr Murray Horton, Technical Specialist Polyolefins, Plastic Additives. Together with a strong partner in the German automotive industry, BASF has developed solutions for non-dusting car interiors. The offering will also in the long-run prevent unwanted fogging, is colour neutral, extremely light and thermo stable and has no impact on the properties of the plastic. “Thanks to a non-dusting interior the car will keep its premium-look and overall feel for a longer period of time”, explains Wolfgang Diegritz, Marketing Transportation Plastic Additives Europe.

Christine Bradley, Sales Manager Plastic Additives North Europe, shows in her paper the “Impact of regulatory and sustainability trends on coloration of plastics”. With that BASF positions itself as a reliable partner within the whole value-chain and provides a wide portfolio and broad expertise regarding sensitive applications. “Requirements for food compliance and other sensitive applications are constantly changing. For that reason we strive to exceed those standards and supply long-term applicable products to our customers”, states Bradley.
