We therefore offer agronomists exciting tasks in research, development, and registration as well as in sales and marketing. We want the best results, and you, as an agricultural scientist, will be given a lot of responsibility from the very start at BASF.
For agricultural science graduates there are different possibilities for becoming part of the BASF team. Via the classic route of direct entry, you can start as a lab-team leader, a team leader in the greenhouse or in trial stations. As an agriculture student focusing on crop protection, you have successfully completed your studies with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD. You communicate fluently, also in English, like to work in an interdisciplinary environment and know how to lead a team to achieve the best results. You see travel as an opportunity to further expand your linguistic and intercultural skills. You are open to new things and enjoy technical and scientific challenges, which you approach purposefully and solve with using your innovative mindset.
You can join us directly in the business unit of Crop Protection. Here, we are looking for ways to cover the growing demand for increased agricultural productivity and healthy food for people and animals as a partner to farmers. Our focus is on product innovations, strategies, and solutions for crop protection.
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD graduates can start in research, greenhouses or trial stations. Your mentors as well as individual training courses will make your entry easy for you.
Training is usually on the job in a committed, competent team and involves demanding tasks with a high level of responsibility. This includes, in addition to scientific work on a specific project, working with inter-disciplinary and often inter-cultural teams.
