Our social commitment
We have an impact on society through our membership in various initiatives and associations. Together with other member companies, for example, we are working with the Initiative Chefsache to promote more women in management positions. As a founding member of the Charter of Diversity we are committed to all dimensions of diversity in Germany and as a founding member of the prOUT@work foundation we support the concerns of people with LGBTIQ* backgrounds.
In Universum's current DNI ranking, we have made it into the top 50 most attractive employers.
Since 2018, BASF has been one of about 150 companies that support the United Nations' global LGBTI Code of Conduct (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans and Intersex).
