During its General Assembly in the middle of March 2016 in Brussels, the member companies of CSR Europe have reelected Thorsten Pinkepank, Director Sustainability Relations at BASF, as a corporate member of the new CSR Europe Board of Directors for the next three years.
In total the CSR Europe Board consists of representatives from companies and organizations originating in 13 different countries and representing nine different sectors including electronics, food and beverage, chemistry and energy. Among them are representatives from companies like IBM and Randstadt as well as newly elected members from Johnson & Johnson, McCain, Samsung und Huawei.
CSR Europe, based in Brussels, is the leading European business network for Corporate Social Responsibility. It gathers over 10,000 companies – including BASF, and acts as a platform for those businesses looking to enhance sustainable growth and to positively contribute to society.
