Johnnie Yuen

Short bio

Johnnie Yuen joined the BASF Venture Capital team as an Investment Manager in January 2011. Before that, he was responsible for sales and marketing of BASF petrochemical catalysts in the Asia Pacific region. He acquired experience within the petrochemical industry as an equity analyst for public companies listed in Hong Kong and China. Prior to joining BASF, he worked for two major oil companies in China, focusing on sales and marketing, and business development.

He studied Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) while working at BASF.
