Key Account Manager (Seed Solution)

BASF in Ukraine, the world's largest chemical company with HQ in Germany, is happy to invite talented and goal-oriented professionals to fill the position of Key Account Manager (Seed Solution).

 

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for volumes planning, forecasting and pricing of Seed Solution portfolio

·         Plan and is responsible for allocated cost budget of business unit

·         Focuses on key players of Seed Treatment in Ukrainian market and increases BASF share there

·         Take ownership and drives technical seed treatment topics at customers seed plant level

·          Implement new products and recipes

·         Take part in improvement of plant productivity

·         Claim handling and issue solving

·         Organize trainings for customers

·         Co-develop and implement operative sales plans and targets

·         Coordinate activity between Sales and Marketing / Ukrainian Seed Solution responsible manager to Seed Treatment related topics

·         Take ownership of collaboration with machinery manufacturers and share new trends and communicate opportunities and follow up projects among EU Seed Management Team.

·         Develop good knowledge and overview over technical setup at customer's treatment sites. Translate the need of customers to BASF units and co-develop the right combination of chemicals, seed coatings and biologicals (integrate and complement offers)

·         Support setting up “virtual” service centers in Ukraine by considering country specifics and HQ requirements

 

Requirements:

·         University Degree (e.g. Agriculture, Business, Economics, Marketing, Industry)

·         Proficiency in Ukrainian, Russian and English all written and spoken

·         Computer literacy on professional level

·         2-3 years of Sales / Key Account Management experience

·         Crop Protection Products and Seed market knowledge

·         Strong sales skills

·         Working experience in product management and/or seed company

·         Driving license (cat. В) and practical driving experience
