Support us in further expanding BASF’s leading position.

Our colleagues from various BASF departments - chemistry, process technology, biology, production or agricultural science - are always developing something new. To turn new ideas into products, our patent lawyers register on average over 1,000 patents with the European Patent Office in Munich for the BASF Group every year. With this number of registrations, we are right at the top internationally when comparing all classical chemical and pharmaceutical companies over a five-year period. We offer you a career with numerous options and involvement with the newest state-of-the-art technologies. You can expect interesting tasks - from supporting patent issuing processes and creating technology contracts to advising inventors and business units on strategic issues.

The Global Intellectual Property department has the central control responsibility for securing the intellectual property rights of the entire BASF Group.
