Acrodur® 

Formaldehyde-free acrylic binders.

Acrodur high-performance, water-based acrylic binders help to replace traditional formaldehyde-containing or solvent-based resins such as melamine, urea and phenol formaldehyde in natural, synthetic and glass fiber nonwovens, enabling safer, simpler and more ecological handling. Acrodur technology allows manufacturers to supply low-VOC emitting products, supports indoor air quality (IAQ) and helps reduce plant emissions.

Acrodur thermosetting binders offer excellent strength, flexibility and versatility for nonwoven applications, helping to produce environmentally advanced products with optimal quality and performance.

Acrodur 950 L
Recommended for thermoset applications with high requirements for thermal resistance using glass and polyester nonwovens, wood and natural fiber materials, for use in insulation, abrasives, ceiling tiles, wall coverings, and specialty glass applications. Suitable for use with mineral fibers.
Acrodur DS 3515 na
Recommended for thermoset applications with high requirements for thermal resistance and flexibility, e. g. wood and natural fiber materials, coated abrasives and abrasive nonwovens, insulation, ceiling tiles, wall coverings, and specialty glass applications.
Acrodur DS 3530
Recommended for thermoset applications with high requirements for thermal resistance using glass and polyester nonwovens, wood and natural fiber materials, for use in insulation and ceiling tiles, and specialty glass applications. Suitable for use with mineral fibers.
Acrodur PLUS 2580 na
Solution polymer for thermoset applications that provides excellent heat resistance and stiffness with very low color. The high solid composition also helps contribute to lower transportation costs. For use in insulation, abrasives, ceiling tiles, wall coverings, filtration, and specialty glass applications. Can be used as a crosslinker.
Acrodur DS 3558
