Acronal® NX 4627 X
Styrene-acrylic polymer for asphalt bond coats and fog seals.
Acronal NX 4627 X is a styrene-acrylic binder that is stable in both anionic and cationic asphalt emulsions. This product is cement stable, APEO and ammonia free. Bond coat emulsions modified with Acronal NX 4627 X can break very quickly, reducing the time needed before vehicles can cross the bond coat without pick up. Acronal NX 4627 X improves the bond coat at paving temperatures while reducing the tracking and does not interfere with the flexibility or the adhesive properties of the residue. In fact, Acronal NX 4627 X actually increases the flexibility in cold temperatures and increases strength in warm temperatures.
