Attagel® 50
Attapulgite rheology modifier for low-shear viscosity control.
Attagel 50 is an inert powdered gelling grade of attapulgite clay for use in a variety of applications requiring thixotropic thickening and suspension aid. It is finely pulverized to effectively form colloidal gels in ionic and non-ionic aqueous solutions to provide thixotropic thickening and suspension. This product is recommended for use in paint and coatings applications where sag resistance, spatter control, and syneresis control is required. In most organic liquid systems, Attagel 50 can impart thickening and suspension when dispersed with an appropriate surfactant.
