Butonal® NX 1129
Proven performance in asphalt modification
Butonal NX 1129 is a novel latex polymer dispersion designed to be mixed with asphalt cement to produce a highly elastic modified binder with long term storage stability. It can be used to modify asphalt cement in order to meet Superpave “Plus” modified binder specifications as well as to provide improvements in conventional properties such as increased softening point and decreased penetration. Butonal NX 1129 can also be incorporated into anionic asphalt emulsions via addition to the soap solution (batch process) or co-milling (continuous process). Butonal NX 1129 can be used in PG-graded binders, chip sealing, slurry seals, below-grade foundation waterproofing, and industrial emulsions.
