Efka® IO 6782
Conductivity aid to increase the electric conductivity of a liquid or solid paint film.
Efka IO 6782 is a clear, yellowish liquid additive used to increase the conductivity of coating systems. This is especially important for electrostatically sprayed paints. This product can be used in most kinds of coating systems containing polar and non-polar solvents. In paints containing only white spirit, Efka IO 6782 should be prediluted with butanol at 1:1 or 1:2 proportions to improve efficiency by improving solubility and distribution. Since it is of cationic nature, compatibility with other parts of the recipe should be tested before use. Anionic components may react with Efka IO 6782 and thus reduce efficiency.
