Highly efficient defoamer with broad food contact compliance for water-based systems.
FoamStar SI 2240 is a silicone based defoamer compound with a broad compatibility in various binder systems, spontaneous defoaming effect and excellent long term efficiency. It is well suited for the production of pigment concentrates due to the fact that it shows excellent stability under high shear conditions. However, it also shows very good efficiency in the let-down stage. FoamStar SI 2240 has an extended food contact compliance and global country registrations.
