Tinuvin 326 is a high-performance hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) designed to provide outstanding light stability and long-term UV protection for plastics, coatings, and other organic substrates. This chlorinated, red-shifted UV absorber delivers exceptionally strong absorption in the 300-400 nm range while maintaining minimal absorption in the visible spectrum, allowing less than 1% UV transmittance up to 370 nm without impacting appearance. Featuring low volatility and excellent resistance to thermal degradation, Tinuvin 326 performs reliably during demaning polyolefin compounding and molding processes, while also being recommended for architectural, industrial, furniture, flooring, and floorcare coatings.
