Founded in 2015 to enable the electrification of everything, Washington-based Group14’s breakthrough silicon battery technology elevates the performance of the respective application to accelerate the global transition to an all-electric future. Today, Group14 is delivering commercial-scale quantities of its silicon battery technology to customers including automotive OEM Porsche AG. The company currently operates a factory for Active Battery Materials in Washington with two factories forthcoming: one in South Korea as part of a joint venture with SK Inc. and a second U.S. factory.
