Antwerpen, im Norden von Belgien, ist der zweitgrößte Produktionsstandort der BASF. Der Verbundstandort steht in direkter Verbindung mit der Nordsee, dem Antwerpener Hafen und dem europäischen Hinterland.  BASF Antwerpen ist ca. sechs Quadratkilometer groß und zählt 50 Produktionsanlagen, verteilt über 15 integrierte Wertschöpfungsketten.

Required documents

It is necesarry to provide the following mandatory documents when registrating at the site of BASF Antwerpen (gate 6).

Contracting firm

Each contracting firm must be pre-registered via Pass@ge. After registration, the company-level SCC (VCA) certificate must be uploaded in Pass@ge for each main and subcontractor performing SCC-required work. 

Contractor employee

Every contractor employee must also be registered in advance via Pass@ge. The employee must be able to present the following information when registering at the reception desk:

  • Printed preannouncement or preannouncement number
  • Name and telephone number of contact person (commissioning party) on the BASF site
  • Personal safety certificate for SCC (VCA) mandatory work (to be uploaded in advance in Pass@ge)


In addition, the following documents are required when registering at the reception desk:  

EEA employee

The following documents are required when registering at the front desk:  

  • Your ID card or passport* will suffice if you work for a Belgian employer.
  • If you work for a foreign employer, then the following is required:
    • ID card or passport*
    • LIMOSA**
    • A1 certificate


EER = EU27 (incl. BE) / Iceland / Norway / Liechtenstein + Switzerland 
* Driver's license does not count as proof of identification

NOT EEA employee

The following documents are required when registering at the front desk:

If you work for a Belgian employer, the following is required:

  • A visa or passport
  • Belgian Work Permit or Belgian Electronic Foreigner Card (with the mention that he/she is allowed to work) or Belgian Professional Card (for self-employed individuals)

If you work for a foreign employer, the following is required:

  • LIMOSA**
  • Foreign employer from the EEA:
    ! Both the residence permit and the A1 certificate must be issued by the EEA country where the employer is established.
    • EU residence permit (with the mention that he/she is allowed to work)
    • A1 certificate
  • Employer from a third country:
    • VISA or passport
    • Belgian Work Permit or Belgian Electronic Foreigner Card (with the mention that he/she is allowed to work) or Belgian Professional Card (for self-employed individuals)
