FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mumbai, Maharashtra – October 08, 2024: BASF India Limited announced today that it has relocated its head office to Godrej One, a LEED®️ Platinum certified building in the central location of Vikhroli, one of Mumbai's thriving business districts. This move aligns with BASF’s commitment to the Future of Work (FOW) approach, sustainability, and innovation, while prioritizing employee well-being.

Around 500 BASF employees from across various businesses and functions will work together under one roof as a result of the relocation.

The office features modern elements, including ergonomic designs, dynamic desk-sharing, natural lighting, ventilation, and indoor air quality and noise level monitoring. Open workspaces such as collaboration areas, phone booths, quiet rooms, and a work café are specially tailored to support flexible and inspiring work arrangements, fostering creativity and teamwork among employees.

"We are excited to begin this new chapter in our Indian operations, where all businesses and functions will be able to collaborate on one single floor," said Alexander Gerding, Managing Director, BASF India. "Our new office in Mumbai is a combination of future-oriented designs and will promote creative exchange, networking and social connectivity. Further, it embodies BASF values of innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being, enabling us to better serve our customers and partners, while fostering an inspiring work environment."

BASF’s R&D unit will continue to operate out of BASF Innovation Campus in Turbhe. All employees located in other cities and at various factory sites will remain unaffected by the office move.
