BASF Kids’ Lab Expands to Chennai, Bringing Chemistry Education and Climate Awareness to Young Learners
Chennai, Tamilnadu, 30 January – BASF India concluded its impactful Kids’ Lab program in Chennai, held from January 19–30, 2026, bringing immersive and experiential chemistry learning to the students.
To deliver the program at scale, BASF India collaborated with Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, one of Chennai’s leading engineering institutions; BumbleB Trust, a non‑profit organization dedicated to educational access; and PALS, an initiative founded by IIT Madras alumni to promote science and engineering education among young learners.
BASF Kids’ Lab served as a platform for imagination, innovation, and empowerment. The experiments blended chemistry concepts with practical climate education, encouraging students to see themselves as changemakers. Children left the sessions motivated and more aware of how everyday decisions, no matter how small, can contribute to a more sustainable future.
